We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Isolait on devices you own or control, under these terms. You may not resell it, reverse-engineer it except where the law allows, remove its notices, get around its license checks, or use it to break the law or someone else's rights.
If you got Isolait from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple handles purchases, subscriptions and refunds. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and for support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Your recordings, edits, exports and everything you make with Isolait belong to you. We don't claim any rights to them, and because Isolait runs on your devices we usually never see them.
You're responsible for what you record, make and publish. Make sure you have the rights to the people, music, clips and pictures in it, and the consent of anyone you record where the law requires it. Bleep, caption and voice-cleanup tools help, but checking the result is up to you.
Isolait can hand your videos to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X and other services, and in time post to some of them for you once you connect an account. Those services are run by other companies, under their own terms, which you agree to when you use them. Posting to YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. We aren't responsible for those services, including whether they accept, show, label or remove what you post.
Isolait for Mac installs Isolait Mic, a virtual microphone that other apps can choose. You can remove it from Settings in the app. Features marked "new", "preview" or found under Labs are early and may change, break or be removed.
We may update Isolait and these terms. If a change to these terms matters, we'll update the date above and, where we can, tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Isolait after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, stop using Isolait and cancel any subscription.
Isolait is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Isolait will be error-free or that it will remove every sound, catch every word or work with every app and device. Isolait is not a hearing aid, a medical device or a substitute for professional care.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim about Isolait is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Isolait in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
You can stop using Isolait at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 4, 9, 10, 12 and 13 continue after it ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal claim, please email us so we can try to sort it out. Disputes that aren't resolved go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court where eligible. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away any rights the law of the place you live gives you.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Isolait. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a company that takes over Isolait.
